    Early Life

    Griselda Blanco was born in 1943 in Cartagena, Colombia.

    At the age of three, she moved to Medellín with her mother, Ana Lucía Restrepo. From a young age, there were indications that Griselda was drawn to a life of crime. At the age of 11, she was already involved in the kidnapping of a child from a wealthy family for ransom, which tragically resulted in the child's murder.
